Jew­ish Book Coun­cil cel­e­brates and cham­pi­ons books that reflect the diver­si­ty and rich­ness of Jew­ish expe­ri­ence. By con­nect­ing read­ers, authors, and all who val­ue lit­er­a­ture, we cre­ate oppor­tu­ni­ties for essen­tial con­ver­sa­tions and vibrant engage­ment with Jew­ish life and community. Each year, JBC reach­es 900,000 read­ers with its vibrant dig­i­tal pres­ence; dis­trib­utes books to near­ly 2,000 Nu Reads sub­scribers; works with near­ly 300 tour­ing authors; facil­i­tates over 1,400 events; and presents over twen­ty lit­er­ary awards, includ­ing the Nation­al Jew­ish Book Awards and Natan Notable Books.
