**This form is for people who are new to NATA!

  • If you are an active member who wishes to renew, please log into the MemberHub to view your invoice for the new year.
  • If you are returning member whose membership has lapsed, or if you want to upgrade or downgrade your membership to a different category or salary level, please contact the NATA office.
  • If you would like to seek financial assistance for your dues (Regular Members Only), please select the Invoice payment option and complete the online assistance request form.

One you submit your membership application form, we will review your information to verify your eligibility for membership, typically within 1 business day.

Once your eligibility and payment are verified, your membership will be activated, and you will receive an email from the NATA office with instructions on next steps.

PAYMENT NOTE: Please note that even if you select the Invoice payment option, payment must be made electronically via ACH or Credit Card. We are no longer accepting physical check payments for new member applications. Your invoice will include a link to enter your payment information.

You qualify as a Regular NATA Member if you are employed by a synagogue as the senior administrative professional, such as an Executive Director, Administrator, or if you are a senior professional responsible for two or more executive functions. 

Regular NATA Membership dues are based on your annual salary:

Choose this membership category if you are not the most senior administration professional in your synagogue but you are responsible for one executive function. Positions that fall into associate level membership category might include CFO, Program Director, Facilities Manager.

Choose the affiliate level membership if you are a senior professional whose employment is related to Jewish communal administration and you are not employed by a synagogue.


You may choose NAASE courtesy access if you are a Regular member of the North American Association of Synagogue Executives (NAASE) in good standing. There is no fee associated with this option. As a NAASE "opt-in" you are not a NATA member but will have access to some NATA member resources. For more information about what benefits are included, visit the Membership Information page. Your membership status in NAASE will be verified before access to NATA resources is granted or renewed.
