Ready, Set, Go: Crash Course for Synagogue Capital Fundraising (Part 1)

Thursday, May 9, 2024 (10:00 AM - 11:00 AM) (PDT)

Description

About the Session:

Ready? Set? What are the pre-conditions that synagogues should have in place before making the decision to launch? We will touch on vision and strategy, lay leadership, the health of the development program, the internal and external landscape, and timing. This session will also address the life of a campaign from pre-campaign study through campaign completion and stewardship. We will discuss what is entailed in laying the groundwork for the campaign, including development assessment, key stakeholder conversations, a case for support, and other campaign planning materials.
