Description

About the sessions:

Are you a synagogue executive looking to create cultural change in your institution?
NATA is offering a highly subsidized 4-week training with Ta’amod: Stand Up!  In a cohort of experienced Temple Executives, you will gain an understanding of psychological safety in the workplace, explore universal themes around respect and equity through a lens of Jewish wisdom, and receive tangible tools to bring back to your institution. Ta’amod trainings delve into topics of power and identity, bystander intervention and creating a feedback-rich workplace to help you improve your organizational culture and approach harassment prevention in a more holistic and meaningful way.
Participants will:
  • Explore definitions of psychological safety and its impact on organizational culture and success
  • Think about workplace ethics and culture through a Jewish lens
  • Reflect on their own role as a Jewish executive within a congregational workplace
  • Create shared language around workplace behavior, culture, and practices
  • Learn the basic structures and definitions of unlawful harassment, and how to prevent it
  • Gain new skills and tools from the Ta’amod curriculum to bring back to your workplace
  • This 4-week series is limited to a small cohort of 24 participants. Please only register if you are committed to attending all 4 sessions.

About Ta'amod:

Ta’amod is Hebrew for ‘stand up’. It’s what we do for each other every day. In the workplace and in the world.

We strive to transform Jewish life by equipping institutions and individuals with the resources they need to build healthy, safe, and equitable workplaces and communal spaces.

Through training, education, consultation and referrals, we apply frameworks of Jewish wisdom and accountability, helping communities live into alignment with their values. https://taamod.org/
